About the Role:The Chief Academic In-charge will oversee the academic operations of the school, ensuring a high level of educational excellence and operational accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Academic Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement the school's academic vision and strategy.
Plan and oversee the academic calendar, including curriculum planning, assessments, and extracurricular activities.
Ensure that academic programs align with the school's educational goals and standards.
Curriculum Management:
Oversee the development and implementation of a robust curriculum across all grades.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Implement curriculum enhancements and innovative teaching practices to improve student outcomes.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage the teaching staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for teachers to ensure professional development.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment for teachers and staff.
Academic Operations Management:
Ensure smooth academic operations, including timetabling, resource allocation, and classroom management.
Oversee the implementation of academic policies and procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with administrative and support staff to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with educational regulations, standards, and best practices.
Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Oversee the assessment and evaluation processes, including examinations and report generation.
Student Performance and Support:
Monitor student performance and progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
Work closely with teachers to identify and support students with diverse learning needs.
Engage with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on student progress.
Resource Management:
Manage academic resources, including textbooks, teaching materials, and digital tools.
Oversee the budget for academic operations and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with parents, school management, and external educational bodies.
Represent the school in academic forums and build partnerships with educational institutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in managing school academic operations.
Proven track record in curriculum development, academic planning, and staff management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
